I’ve been sick for a week now and I’m pretty worn out. Everytime I think I’m feeling better I go for a walk or try and do something and end up in a feverish heap. So, to cheer myself up this is what I’m listening to…makes me smile everytime:
Update: Well, that’s cheered me up! My sister has just given birth to a baby boy this morning in Holles Street hospital. Congratulations Deborah and Eric!

Claire I am not really sick, just in a grumpy mood. I am really glad I checked your blog today. Thank you for the song. It helped. I am still grumpy, but instead of my mood ring being red it is now yellow. I have made improvement. I pray God will bring you improvement. That he will fill your house with a spirit of healing and you will recover quickly.
Hi Amy, I’m glad the song helped with your mood…it’s my go-to song whenever I need a bit of a boost.
That’s good news on you sister’s new baby – more work for your Canon!
Sorry to hear of your continuing fever. I’m wrecked myself in last few days with high temperature. I thought it was just a regular flu until I looked at my leg this morning – all red from knee down. Doc says I’ve cellulitis so I’m now popping antibiotics.
Get well soon! Like soon before the weekend soon… That soon!
Oh no John! Hope you’re feeling better soon.
Thanks Ryan, I’m determined to be better by the weekend, there’s no way I’m missing the party.
Hope you’re better by the weekend Claire, look forward to seeing you there 🙂
Oh, I’m feeling loads better already…mind over matter I think. See you there 🙂
marvellous… The power of positive thinking!
it’s my first visit here and it’s the best! Very beautiful. And Your Bird can Sing reminds me of the story that whichever Beatle wrote it, wrote for Mick Jagger who was going out with Marianne Faithful at the time. Subtle. But I loved it.
Hi Brian, glad you found the blog 🙂
I’d never heard the story of this song, I love stuff like that especially if it’s anything to do with the Beatles so thanks!
