Mondello Park in County Kildare organised a Photowalk yesterday during their Japfest race day. I was lucky enough to be invited and despite the rain we had a great time and there are some brilliant photos appearing already. You can see them by going to Pix.ie and searching for Japfest.
I could have titled this post “Spot The Car,” yes, I went to a Photowalk in Mondello and didn’t really take any photos of cars. There were a few on my card when I was looking but they could have passed for AutoTrader ads so I’ll spare you them. I just kept getting drawn away from the races and the stunts (which were brilliant by the look of the other photos) to the spectators and petrol heads.
I like to call this one “Word To Your Ma”:
Thanks a million Mondello, particularly John who organised everything and made sure we were well fed and watered and to Fergus who made sure we didn’t end up wandering onto the track!

Great stuff. Particularly love the last one “word to your ma”.
So glad I didn’t wear me pink stilettos too. Could have been an awful fashion clash.
A great impression of the day for those who weren’t there. Marvellous!
Love the shots. Not a car in sight. Like your view of the day. Must get working on my own shots soon. 🙂
Thouroughly enjoyable set of shots, you really captured the sense of the place and the people there. Love them!
Great shots Claire. These were the sort of shots that I *wanted* to take but I got a bit distracted by the noisy machines on the track!
Some amazing shots there!!! I was wondering who you lot were when I got surrounded by you all out on track! wettest day by far we had out there.
