Gothic

Ahh, Hallowe’en, my favourite time of year. Last night at the back of a bookshelf I found an old anthology of scary stories that I picked up at a second hand bookshop many years ago. Before I went to sleep I reread a story that has stayed with me since I first read it all that time ago…The Entertainment by Ramsey Campbell. I’d say it would be hard to find a copy of it now but if you like that kind of thing and you happen across it, it’s as creepy as they get and I think of it every time I drive past all those old hotels along the seafront in Bray.
