My apologies for not posting for so long! Every now and then I find I need to take a break from blogging so I can recharge and come back to it.
Here’s a few photos from the weekend to break myself back in. While Matt was busy studying to take his CCNA, Eve and I spent the afternoon at Glenroe Farm which is a great little petting zoo and playground in Kilcoole just down the road from us. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. If you have little ones this is a perfect place for a day out. It costs €6 for adults and €5 for kids and we brought along a picnic so it didn’t cost anymore money than the entrance fee.
After she’d finished squeezing the life out of the poor animals, there was the excellent playground to explore:
Eve is a bit of a daredevil so she had to find the tallest, fastest slide to go down. It took her a few times to figure it out but she was determined:

I want a go on that slide!
looked like it was a great day out … one of the so few sunny days we get this summer :S
good luck on the CCNA exam … just do the lab excersisess again and revise the IP networks and it will be a pice of cake 🙂
Haha I know Grannymar, I did too.
OK666: It’s Matt that’s taking the exam but I’ll pass on your good luck wishes. He’s pretty sure he’s not ready for it yet and is going to fail but fingers crossed he’ll be proved wrong. He’s taking it tomorrow.
Welcome back Claire. The photos show great enthusiasm; they should pay you or make you a patron. I’ve put my toe in the photo stream, so I’ll be going back through your advice.
I wish there was a place like that around Cork.
By the way, what CCNA?
Thanks Omani, I’m glad you figured out your Flickr woes I’m only sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
CCNA stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate and is a useful qualification for anyone looking to work in IT or Network Administration. In other words…I’ve not got a clue 😀
Ooooh a CCNA in the family. He’ll be printing money before you know it! Have to save a bit and do the course myself too, it’s a fantastic qualification to have. Best of luck to him!
Eve doesn’t look too sure about that slide in the last one though 😀
Her face is funny coming down that slide. Well caught!
Great photos
good photo, but wasn’t she a bit terrified?
@Tom…she’s a bit of a daredevil so terror was part of the fun…she was right back up the slide after I took that photo.
